There is a fresh fish shop in Ullapool next door to the fish and chip shop “D M Seafoods”.  Two mobile fish vans come to Lochinver on Wednesday between 12 noon and 2 pm.  One parks opposite the Spar and the other parks further down the main street on the left-hand side.

Asda will deliver to Loanan but not Glenbain.  The postcode for Loanan is IV27 4HL

What public transport is available?

Public transport is sparse; the 809 bus, which travels from Ullapool to Lochinver, passes through Inchnadamph.  Please be aware that Glenbain is one mile away from the main road.  Citylink and Megabus have coaches to Ullapool from Inverness.  There are no trains in the area.

The Altnacealgach is eight miles east of Inchnadamph on the A837 heading towards Lairg.  Other pubs and restaurants are located in Ullapool and Lochinver.

The kitchens are equipped for general cooking but do not have baking equipment due to the limited space.

This is in Lochinver, just off Main Street on the right-hand side.  It is in the car park by the side of the church.
