There is a fresh fish shop in Ullapool next door to the fish and chip shop “D M Seafoods.” On Wednesdays between 12 noon and 2 pm, two mobile fish vans come to Lochinver. One park is opposite the Spar, and the other park is further down the main street on the left-hand side.

What public transport is available?

Public transport is sparse; the 809 bus, which travels from Ullapool to Lochinver, passes through Inchnadamph.  Please be aware that Glenbain is one mile away from the main road.  Citylink and Megabus have coaches to Ullapool from Inverness.  There are no trains in the area.

The kitchen is equipped for general cooking but does not have baking equipment due to the limited space.

This is in Lochinver, just off Main Street on the right-hand side.  It is in the car park by the side of the church.

One is at Achmelvich Beach; please check for opening times, or one is in Ullapool. A Cala Café in Lochinver also sells takeaway fish and chips.
